My name is Annita, and I am a court-appointed civil celebrant based in Occoquan, Virginia. I perform legal wedding ceremonies throughout Northern Virginia, from simple marriage ceremonies to personalized celebrations that reflect each couple's story.

This is the marriage, not the wedding -you show up as two, and leave married. A simple, 15-minute legal ceremony for you and up to 6 of your closet people: your vows, the license signed, a couple photos, done.

Ceremony time begins at the contracted start time, not arrival time.

The $75 ceremony includes:

• Use of the waterfront gazebo for 15 minutes for up to 6 guests
• Courthouse-style vows
• Legal solemnization of your marriage
• Completion and signing of your Virginia marriage license

Want to dress it up a little? priced individually so you only pay for what you want.

• Gazebo draping: $35
• Gazebo floral styling: $100, based on on-site availability
• Padded seating for up to 6 guests: $50
• Extra time for photo's: $50 for 30 minutes or $75 for 45 minutes

Every ceremony includes thoughtfully delivered vows — how personal you want them to be is up to you. Standard Vows are included in every ceremony. 

Fully Custom Ceremony — starting at $200. You'll start with a guided worksheet that helps you think through the pieces of a ceremony — the elements, the traditions, the moments that matter to you. Then we sit down — together or separately — and build on that: your story, what draws you to each other, what you want this day to say. From there I write a ceremony that's entirely yours.$200 — interview with the couple (together or separately).  Beautifully written, time-tested language that still feels warm and genuine — no extra planning required on your end.

Already have someone special leading your ceremony? I can provide the legal portion of the marriage and complete and sign your Virginia marriage license as the authorized civil celebrant.
